By answering the following questions you will help us to prepare the quotation.

1. Functional description of the hospital, clinic etc.

2. Description of the facilities room by room.

3. Layout (1:200, 1:100 or 1:50) – if available

4. Special requirements and numeric information:

• Premises with specific functions
• Number of operation theaters, types of surgery
• Recovery unit, number of beds
• Number of ICU beds
• Number of CCU beds
• Hemodialysis unit, number of beds etc.
• Total number of beds
• Number of laboratory tests (performed by time), types of tests, samples per day
• Number of X-rays (performed by time)
• Quantity of outpatients per day if outpatient clinic is included
• Quality of the water

5. Status of the project

6. Time schedule for the project. Stage of the planning work. Quotation period. Deadline for submission of the offer.

7. Budget, source of financing. Acceptable terms of payment. (Usually L/C)

8. Construction company (if chosen). Stage of the construction work.

9. Relations and responsibilities, ie. customer, main contractor, subcontractor, suppliers.

10. Competition, especially in the equipment supplies.

11. Number of staff employed at the hospital.
